Foreword
This is a project that I've wanted to work on for a while. I wanted to use my Practicum III at Shocker Studios to work on this project in a meaningful capacity, and this itch page is the way I'll be documenting the work made on this game during that time.
As a preface, I want to make it known that the work I do during my practicum is not the final result I'm wanting for this game. My intention is to work on the combat system which will serve as the primary foundation for the game. I want come out of this practicum having this one piece that is polished to the point where it's fun to play, that is the major goal of my practicum. Aside from the actual programming of the game, I want to be the primary source of most, if not all, of the assets I use in this project. While the workload may seem a bit high for a game made in a few months, my intention is to prove I can be a game designer, I want to prove that I can take the concept of a game, and bring it to life the way I envisioned it if not better. After stating that though, I hope my hubris doesn't come back to bite me for that comment.
